Heater blowing out cold air

2014 ford Taurus. The heater is only blowing out cold air.
Occasionally it will blow out luke warm air when highly
accelerated for less than a min. Replaced thermostat, did
not fix the problem. Sometimes the a/c button will turn on
automatically, odd.

If it's not ur heater core then u need to replace the blower motor as well this happened to me last year

I'm having the same issues. What did you find out? My mechanic said I need a new water pump. Any help is appreciated.
