Spare Tire Kit Removal

Asked by Myrt929 May 11, 2017 at 09:47 AM about the 2014 Kia Soul Base

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just purchased the donut spare tire kit with tools and jack.   How do I remove
the fix a flat stufff that came with the car that's in a clear plastic bag in the tire
compartment before I place the tire in?  It looks difficult to remove without
being messy....   Am. Wrong about that?

Call the Kia dealership ( I am unfamiliar with the Soul so I don't want to give you the wrong advice ). Ask the service department how to proceed. If they want you to bring it in and charge you, do some google or youtube research, 9 times out of 10 there is a DIY fix out there, you just have to hunt for it. Best of luck!
