I’m beginning to hate Subaru

Asked by GoldDog Nov 26, 2018 at 01:26 PM about the 2014 Subaru Forester 2.0XT Touring

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We bought a second Subaru Forester in 2014–
brand new. It has constant problems with burning
oil and the battery dies within less than 10 minutes
when the parking lights are flashing for safety. It is
still under warranty so I call their roadside
assistance and it takes a few hours for them to
arrive —and we live in Seattle! I have had new cars
and trucks before, and never with so many
problems!

Take your Subie into a dealer and demand an oil consumption test. You may get a new motor.
