I recently bought a 2014 Forester. During the daytime, (especially if I am wearing sunglasses) I can not read the tachometer, speedometer, or the odometer, gas gauge display. The dealer says that is just the way it is. Are those gauges really that dim?

Try using the adjustment wheel to bring up the brightness to the maximum. Polarized sunglasses don't work well with electronic displays,
