ABS Speed sensor light

Asked by Guru9HQQ9M Nov 15, 2021 at 10:47 PM about the 2014 Kia Sorento LX AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a Kia Sorento 2014 and my ABS light is on. Checked out my speed
sensor and the rear driver sides read 720 Ohms and my rear passenger side
read 534 Ohm. Does that mean I should change out my Speed Sensor Hub on
the rear passenger side since it is not about 700 Ohms?

It doesn't exactly mean it. ABS system requires special electronic diagnostic tools to properly diagnose and repair the system. before taking the vehicle to the dealer Check: Brake fluid level. Hydraulic control unit electrical connections. check ABS system fuses. check each wheel wiring harness and electrical connectors for damage. Do Not disconnect or connect any ABS electrical connectors with ignition switch ON. If everything looks good and no problem has been detected: Disconnect NEG Battery cable for 5 minutes to reset the PCM. reconnect NEG Battery Cable, start the engine and drive the car. if after this procedure ABS warning light comeback ON, take the KIA to a Certified Technician. Thanks
