What paint colors were used on the body and fenders?

Have a 28-29 Fordor. No original paint left, but can see a bit of a green tinge.
Want to make it full fendered, but wondering about running board and fender
colors. Many restorations I see have black fenders and boards. Did any years
have matching body paint and fenders?
