Stutter/PCM?

Asked by Armysoldier87 Oct 25, 2017 at 10:31 PM about the 2014 Jeep Patriot Latitude

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Been having a delay/stutter/bucking issue while
accelerating last couple of days. Replaced plugs,
air filter, fuel injector cleaner, and cleaned battery
terminals... to no avail. Was driving this morning
and the ETC warning light flickered and car about
died, stuttered terrible like it was gonna turn off,
then lights went off and smoothed out.

My own research is showing that the PCM might
need flashed, throttle body cleaning/replacement,
or throttle sensor needs replaced.

Any ideas?
Any TSB’s for PCM updates recently?
Any recalls?

Car not under bumper to bumper anymore. Do
believe just a drivetrain warranty.

50k miles. 2014 Jeep Patriot.
