-40° on dash and screen

My 2014 Diesel Jeep Grand Cherokee has the
outside temperature displayed on the dash and on
the touchscreen.  Yesterday it displayed the
outside temperature as -40°F.  It automatically
kicks my heated seat and steering wheel on.  My
AC will not blow cold air.  What could be the
problem.

Thank you. That was the problem. Noe I have the lighting bolt come on every time I start the Jeep. It is the Throttle control. Took it to a Jeep dealer garage and they told me it was just the accute thermostat sensor causing it. Had it replaced and it's still doing it. When the light is on I have no power. The Jeep goes 40-45 top speed.
