My car died and I don't know why.

Asked by BuffyBuff Feb 06, 2014 at 12:32 PM about the 2013 Honda Civic EX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car died and I don't know why.  My 2013 Honda Civic Coupe was running and I
adjusted the steering wheel and heard a quiet "pop" and it completely died.  I feel it is a
blown fuse but I don't know which one as I'm not familiar with the abbreviations on the
guide.  The remote locks and the interior and exterior lights still work as well as the horn.
The car does not "turn over".

My guess is one of the larger gauge wires for the ignition shorted when you moved the steering wheel. Try ign fuse. A fuse tester or a cheap 12 volt test light helps here.
