Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I bought a 86 camaro for a good price. The fuel
pump was out in it an i replaced that.before i paid
for the car i sprayed starting fluid in the intake an
got in to run after i replaced the pump when i got it
home it would not start. Checked for spark it had
none. So i replaced the coil then i had got spark.
Well i was at did the ignition module cap and rotor.
Yes i timed it correctly lol
So any idea's? Was wondering if maybe there is a
security thing i didnt no about on here. The car
does not use a chipped key.
