On a throttle body injection system, should the injector prime the carb when key is turned?

Throttle body injection is fuel injection system , there is no carb. I think what you think is the carb, is actually the throttle body. And no there is no priming, when you hit the key the injector is automatic, you should not have to give it gas.

Fuel pump is working,key will not start car either! Tried starting fluid! Cant get answers!

I put timing chain & gears used head not getting fuel to t body! Have to turn over by by passing ignition!
