I'm not getting fuel, nor spark from 1986 cavalier. Turns over but doesn't crank

Have the codes read. If you have something like a bad fuel pump, the computer may not allow the engine to start by blocking the spark to the plugs. If your not getting fuel, check the fuse to the fuel pump, make sure the fuel lines are clear and the filters are allowing gas to flow.
