I have a1988 caprice 305 when i hit the gas the engine bogs down and eventually starts to pull but not full power. Idles smoothly just doesn't seem to have full power when i hit the pedal. Help?

How long since you did a tune up on the car? The problem also could be a partially plugged up catalytic converter.
