My 454 big block

I just bought a new 500 dollar radiator all aluminum with
Stroud and 2 fans built onto  it...Why my car still running
hot when I drive  it  about  2 miles???? I got the motor out a
1974 camper...Got the whole motor rebuilt with a  mild cam

Make sure you purge all the air out of the cooling system. Are you sure the engine does not have a bad head gasket?
