Straight swap: no With a lot of work: yes What does a lot of work entail? New ECU management system, a specialized exhaust manifold for the K03 turbo (good luck finding that off the shelf), increase head spacing on the 16v head to support higher compression from induction, etc, etc. Cheaper option: Find a 90's 1.8T Passat buy the whole car on the cheap (engine code AEB that still had manual throttle cable) and swap everything over! Mate an 020 tranny to it and then enjoy the powwwwwaaaaaa.
