Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Initially had wires for oil pressure gauge crack & short. Gauge needle
stuck pointing up. Got a cluster outa 3000GT to replace. Got old
cluster out, got needle unstuck &:tested w/ voltmeter.  Closer to
specs than one from boneyard, so cleaned & put back in &
reassembled all dash but glovebox, radio & console accessory
plugs. Car cranked, no start. Took to 2 shops, not getting gas OR
spark. Sent ECM to be reconditioned.  Car started & drove home as
described above. Tinkered w/ next day w/ better results. Still no
speedometer or turn signals. Drove round block, pulled in driveway
& turned off ignition & removed key, but car still running! Not sure
how finally did? Is ignition switch now bad or loose? & what up w/
speedometer? Thanks, in advance,  for ur input...

There is a screw that hold the wire harness to the back of the switch. If they become loose all sorts of weird things can happen. With you having dug around in the dash I would suspect it might have become loose. Drop panels from around steering column. The screw and harness I am talking about is on the right side of steering wheel on the column almost even with the dash line.
