Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just bought a 1992 Dodge Stealth ES and amongst many other upgrades I have planned for it, I would like to hear some suggestions of what others have bought as far as tires go.  Right now it has the stock 225/55R16 93V on all 4.  any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

Unless you're planning on getting wider wheels I would stick with that size.

Being an ES I'd say that a 225 is enough tire for the car. However, do you plan to keep it stock? If you plan to mod it then yeah, go with some wider wheels. If you were going to go with new wheels anyhow, just get some 17x8" wheels and wrap them in some 245/45 rubber. Nothing can improve the looks of your car more than a good looking set of wheels and tires.

Yeah it's definitely getting some mods, thanks for the advice man I'll be sure to get some new wheels soon.

I have a 1991 Dodge Stealth ES and it has a set of 17x7.5" wheels on it and I am running a set of the factory twin turbo tires on it (245/45/17) and they work perfectly. Otherwise if you stay with 16's then keep the facotry 225's. I have three of these by the way so feel free to ask any questions you may have.
