tried jump tarting my 89 Cadillac coup deville it started sparks now it wont turn on

Car died out at gas station. Got a jump from dude but he placed the cables on
the wrong posts my car threw sparks from battery. Now my car won't start. It
cranks but won't start why...or how do I fix it

Also check the ignition module. They will go bad doing the battery thing. Also check fuses as the injector fusr couldv jsve blown ,
