Question type: Maintenance & Repair

There is an actual hole near the top hose which leaks coolant

If the radiator is in good shape and flows well, keep it. The hole you described can likely be soldered (welded) closed by a local radiator shop.

Sorry, you asked "how much?". Probably $100 or less to fix the hole but you may need to take it out of the vehicle yourself.
