Asked by Robert Jan 25, 2019 at 01:15 PM about the 2003 Ford Focus SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Replaced starter after slow to crank starting begun a few weeks ago.  Battery checks out so what can the secondary problem be? This is a 2.3L SE model and more rare engine.

all electrical connections should be clean and tight batt cable connectors should not be frayed , some starters get warm and can't take the heat , find an A/C Delco OEM parts supplier to make your life easier ,
