Truck shakes at about 60mph

Asked by kgregory88 Oct 25, 2014 at 03:16 PM about the 1992 Dodge Dakota LE Club Cab RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Been trying to figure this out for a while
now. Here are the details:

At about 60mph my truck starts to vibrate
really really bad. It does have a slipping
tranny. Here is what I have replaced so far:

Tires (brand new, checked for bent wheel)
Shocks
front wheel bearing/hub assembly
u joints front and rear (front currently not
in)
Checked diffs

I can feel it in the floor boards really bad. I
will be having the driveline balanced soon.
Any other ideas on what it could be?

Thanks

I will check them out. I did look at the tranny mounts and they looked good. I will let you know. Thanks

The motor mounts look good. What part of them I can see anyways. That motor is stuffed under the heed pretty tight

you didn't mention if you had an alignment. that would be high on the list.
