I blew my engine in my 1989 780 volvo 2.3 turbo engine. I can't seem to find that engine, but I am finding a lot of GLC non turbo engine. Can I turn that into a turbo engine.

Possibly, but there maybe many issues going to a non turbo engine in a turbo charged vehicle having to do with cooling system, intake piping, exhaust, electrical and computer programming. It's best to put same type engine back into vehicle. I would keep looking or perhaps rebuild the engine you have if it is rebuildable.

http://remanufactured.com/Volvo_Engines.htm but would be 2500 since u have a toasted core. You could also try to find a used B230Ft short block and put your peripherals on it instead of going with a turnkey crate they offer.
