What would be a good price for a 1985 Volvo 240 GL with 276,000 miles?

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

We are the second owners the last 18plus years.  Rebuilt transmission 21000 miles ago,
Michelin tires 25000 miles ago, new front brake pads 1 week ago, new water pump and
timing belt 16 months ago.  A/C has not ever worked (been upgraded), radio just stopped
working.  There is cruise control and a sun roof and the body is in great shape.  White

It's all about condition at that point. I wouldn't go more than $2,500 if the body is straight, interior is clean, and paint in nice shape.

I saw a 240 selling for 10k on CarsGurus. So... ranging from 3k to 10k I guess? But as Tom said, Volvo wagons are hot nowadays Volvos are great cars, I had an s60, and am driving a s80. Great choice
