Plug in plastic filler neck under radiator cap is leaking.Is this repairable or do I need to replace unit

Yes becaus I suspect that it is due to it not being part of the radiator itself ,, is it the part that has the coolant overflow going to the tank? Can you take a picture? Most of us "repair people" are aware that not many things can repair nylon or delrin add to that the fact of the unit can be up to 15 lbs pressure at over 230 f ,,, I need a picture

If the radiator tank is leaking you really can't repair it but new ones are surprisingly cheap.
