1989 t/bird. roof will open but sticks on one side (driver) it will drop down after pushing on it. It will not slide back under roof.The motor is ok but the roof wont move HELP

nd what is the secret to getting the 89 roof out. The headliner is out the glass is out but cannot lift the rest of the assembly out

You have to remove the hidden screws. There are 2 in the front, and 2 on each side. Realistically this is a 2 person job. One removing the screws and the other one inside the car in the back seat holding the sunroof.
