i have a newly rebuilt 351w bored 40 over 500 lift comp cam fires up run great when on gas at idle she stoles or rpm are going up and down

ford 351w,          stock heads new valve spring for the cam, ported, valve seat were opened up , rpm intake, holly 600  4 barrel carb, roller rocker arms, 6 to 8 psi 80 gph fuel pump, stander tranny what could be the problem

Is there a vacuum advance on there? Are you using the old ECM or bypass it all?
