Diesel crossover 94 Dodge Dakota

I bought a 94 Dakota Sport from a loved one. Part
of the agreement was that when people ask why it
has stacks (yes they work) I would tell them she
wants to be a big rig when she grows up. After
seeing 276k miles and 32 different states she is
really tired so I want to help her reach puberty and
rise up like a pheonix. I'm thinking 4banger turbo
but I don't know which motors will match to a
dodge or what the best front end upgrades to
support the extra weight are. I realize this is
basically a complete overhaul but it's all I have left
of her and it's very important to me

That would be a full custom job. Perhaps a 4 cylinder Cummins. I am sure there are forums dedicated to such swaps. Look on the web.
