where is the fuse located for the lighter in a 1998 BMW 740i

lighter went out both front and back seats

Go to the fuse block above the battery in your car's trunk. Look for fuse #52 which is a 30 amp fuse, four places from the top. That should be the one that's burned out. Tell us what you find.
