I have a 94 Dodge Dakota. It runs fine for about 5 miles, then runs like it has bad gas for about 6 miles then it runs fine. I have replaced the egr valve & sensor, my oil is good.

Get the codes read to see if anything is stored. What does it do when it "runs like it has bad gas"?

It hesitates, and backfires. It don't stall, and it idles fine. The only code that pops up is my AC is disconnected.

Carbon build up on valves maybe not wanting to seat properly all the time.
