Low grumbling sound while car is in motion only.

Asked by GuruB5FF7 Dec 12, 2018 at 03:10 PM about the 2003 Ford Escape XLS AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2003 ford escape and while it is in motion
I'm hearing a noise from the front end. Sort of a
low, rough, harsh, growling sort of sound that
accompanies the spinning of my wheels. Initially it
was a screech sound and I replaced inner tie rod
ends as well as outer. I also replaced wheel
bearings and a belt. Not sure what is making the
sound seems no one else can either as of late. I'm
just curious to what would be making that sound
along with the turning of my wheels.
