If you mean a flat bed tow truck..then yes, no problem with that. However, I think you mean towing it in Neutral with all 4 wheels on the ground...This, in my opinion, is a bad idea for ANY car or truck. Not good for the tires or the tranny.

The drive wheels should not be rotating while towing. In an emergency, most vehicles may be towed for up to 50 miles, and not exceeding 50 mph, with the back wheels rotating. te problem is heat in the transmission. With the engine not running, you have no fluid moving to be cooled and you will burn the fluid in short order, and that will kill an expensive transmission quickly. If need be, rent a trailer and the Abrams tank to tow the thing!
Depending on how far and why, there shouldn't be any problems if you disconnect the drive line at the rear end or remove it and plug the transmission at the output shaft so you won't lose fluid. Sometimes, in order to flat tow a vehicle, the front wheels of the towed vehicle need to be toe-in slightly to help keep it going straight - thus the tire wear. Other than that, I don't see a reason why not. It wont hurt the front bearings - they're sealed and pre-loaded - it won't hurt the rear bearings - they're lubricated by gear oil that moves about whenever the vehicle moves. But you will have to disconnect the driveline or risk destroying the transmission in very short order. I've seen the Harley-Davidson edition F- 150 being flat-towed behind a massive Motorhome with (of course) a Harley in the bed. There are disconnect kits, I've seen them but don't know where to get them. 4x4, offroad or RV parts house?

Yes you can go into Flat Tow Mode by 1 holding the foot brake, 2 switching to neutral, 3 switching from 2 high to 4 low 7 times in 5 seconds. The display will show Flat Tow Mode. The key must be left in accessories. I have Flat Towed a total of about 1000 km without problems.
I have a 2012 f-150 that is also flat towable according to the book. I am now stuck in tupelo ms. with a bad transmission. don't know problem at this point
