2013 F150 3.5 Ecoboost Check Engine Light

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My check engine light came on after engine was starting to miss fire, changing the plugs and the boots cleared the miss fire issue up right away.  How long must I drive & wait till the "Check Engine Light" goes off?  Or do I need a mechanic to clear it?

you can take it to a parts store and they can clear it for you with the code reader ( erase it ) no charge
