rear tail light problem

Rear passenger brake light & license plate light goes out when brake is
applied

Electrical is one of the most time consuming, difficult, and expensive automotive issue to fix. Has any after market lighting (LED, fog lights) been installed recently? Any aftermarket electronics inside the rig? New car stereo? I had a Ford F150 that after Best Buy installed the new audio deck, the reverse lights would go on anytime I used the CD player. It can be tricky. Also, you might want to check the wiring harnesses at the lights themselves to ensure that there are no bare metal on the wires that could be causing a short, because essentially, thats what the issue is, a short. Ty...yes he checked all wires & fuses! His brother works on cars & he basically said we have to rewire everything because all rusted & probably shorting out...ty for you're help tho!
