I need some help with my 88 ford bronco ii 2.9 v6. I just finished rebuilding the motor and i went to start it and the only thing i got was the check oil light.

All the wires are hooked up ive checked
the starter switch clutch interlock switch
replaced the starter solenoid and battery.  
I cant figure out whats wrong with it help

Run a wire from the battery right to the starter and see if she pops. If it turns over, I'd say it's the ignition.

Ive tried crossing a screwdriver on the starter solenoid and nothing happens

The last thing to not pass a test is the ignition switch. It makes no sense if you crossed the starter terminals and it didn't spin. Put a volt meter on the hot side of the starter. If you don't get 12 volts, there has to be a fusible link some where in the system that you've missed.
