Fist time Viper Buyer: Question on 1995 Viper

Asked by FIrstTimer Aug 15, 2010 at 10:35 PM about the 1995 Dodge Viper RT/10 Roadster RWD

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I have never owned a Viper in my life, but have the opportunity to purchase a 1995 Viper (488/480 HP, 6 speed, convertible).  Is this a car I should stay away from or this something worth purchasing.  Just don't want to jump into a "dog". Worried about cost of maintanence, parts, etc.  Sure could use some advice.

how many miles? record of maintenance? extended warranties in the past? age of owner? sex of owner? theres a lot of factors in this. and while ive never owned a viper im guessing maintenance is high. just call the local dealer and ask how much it normally costs per year.
