start buick 2013 regal without key fob

car was sitting for three months , would nt start. I charged the battery and change the battery in the key fob. car still wouldn't start. I am just getting clicking sounds . I even tried placing the fob in the slot in the cup holder. that didn't work either

replaced fuse block on top of battery car starts fine now. don't know why but that did it.
