Electrical Problem

Recently on the way to work I went to turn on the defroster and ever since
then my 1996 dodge intrepid 3.5 lost all dash instrument cluster function
except for the air bag light. I also have no power for the heat and AC control.
Does anyone have any ideas on what the issue might be? Thank you all for
your help.

This sound,s like you may have a bad ignition switch.
