Dodge Dakota Sport 96 V6 2 wheel drive automatic transmission overheated lost reverse

had a kink hose coming off of radiator have to fix that but still no reverse all
other gears came back when cool

in the process of fixing the kinked hose...perhaps the engagement of R point was altered ~
