why is my 87 honda prelube hung in park?

Is there a button , like on a Toyota you have to oush to out it in drive? If so, that may be it. There is an override on a Toyota, pop the cover off the console with a screwdriver and stick you finger in there and push the little lever that locks it. That just maybe will work on your Bissan
