Is $8,000 too much for a 1988 4Runner with 80k miles?

Asked by spacecrusader Nov 02, 2013 at 11:08 PM about the 1988 Toyota 4Runner 2 Dr SR5 V6

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I'm looking at a '88 4x4 automatic 4runner with 80k miles.  It's in excellent condition with no rust and new tires, and the seller is going to put new brake pads and fix a small oil leak and fix a couple dings in the window.  Asking $8,000 firm.  I love the truck and want to go for it but I don't want to pay too much.

If it is loved...records complete...and you LOVE it...you've got NO choice, then...aina? I paid TOO much for me MINI cooper, but it is an amazing vehicle...and am not going to think about anything else until it's completely paid for...was very surprised to find a NEW car smell...does yours have a NEW car vibe to it?~

no pizza, cigars? uncle walter decides to take his shoes off on a 300 mile trip through a traffic jam in the mid day sun? foot odor that even a superb environmental filter can't handle~?
