Air conditioning

Air conditioner is ice cold when I first
start car to go somewhere, but after an
hour it just stops putting out cold air and
will not work again till the next day.
Please help

Pay $85-100 and have it evacuated, checked for leaks 30mm of vacuum ...and filled with the correct oil PAG,# and amount. Then filled to the correct weight ONLY proper way, of refrigerant 134A. That's what I suggest..

I am having the same problem! Air conditioner is ice cold when I first start car to go somewhere, but after an hour it just stops working. Mark did Auto_Centric's suggestion work?
