Check engine light

when i step on the gas to accelerate the check engine light on the tachtometer comes on.  after a whille it will turn off

It is probably indicating a rich exhaust mixture being seen by your O2 sensor.

    I have a 2009 Mini Cooper base with 11700 miles. The check engine light came on with a p0014 code. I changed the cam sensors and vanos sensors. Cleared the code and it came right back
