Corolla transmission fluid burnt

Asked by Kstan329 Jun 27, 2019 at 07:48 PM about the 2013 Toyota Corolla LE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello, I have a 2013 Corolla at 80,000 miles. The
transmission fluid is showing up burnt but
somebody said that if you change the fluid and
filter it can make the transmission worse since the
car got used to that state. But another mechanic
said to change the fluid and filter and it will be
fixed. Not sure what to do?

1 Answer

Change the fluid but burned fluid means there is probably damage to the transmission already.
