Dashboard Says Regular Maintenance Required

Asked by BrettA8 May 29, 2014 at 04:17 PM about the 2013 Mitsubishi Lancer GT FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just bought a used Lancer 2013, it has 17,500 KM's on it. I have only drove it 200-300
KM's since I bought it, and when I bought it on the dashboard it said "Maintenance
required in 6,500 KM's and under it said one month in red letters." Today I turned it on
and it said in yellow letters "Regular Maintenance required" I was wondering what I
should do and how long is it ok to drive with it before I bring it in to be checked? One
would think the dealership would of done an oil change and stuff before they sold it to
me right so it couldn't be anything serious?

it is a courtesy REMINDER only and what your dealer did or didn't do is unknown to anybody but him. C____ you just bought it ;I am sure the dealer will provide you with a teeny tiny bit of after sale service...P.S. read your OWNER's MANUAL ( if if there isn't one then tell (demand) the dealer to get you one.
