Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I get codes PO300 PO303, and PO305. I have changed all plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and coil. EGR system seems fine. Compression is fine. Any chance it could be the CMP ? Anyone experience this ?

I have a 2002 Dakota 3.9, V6, auto tranny. It does the same thing. We have replaced injector, plugs, wires to no avail. This has continued since about 50K miles, now with 220K miles. my code is PO306 misfire. We cannot figure it out either. Can anyone help???

I dont know if you have solved your problem or not, but I have now seen 2 cases where the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) was the culprit. Does you vehicle occasionally idle rough ?

i have had this not only on my r/t but on my ram 2500. i replace the cam sesor. in both trucks, that did not help. i then clean the iac and the throttle bodies too which helped alittle, the problem was in the disturbtor in both trucks and that fixed the problem. the problem is in the magnetic pick up it gets carbon built up so try to clean it first before replacing the who assembly like i did.

Check your catalytic converter, it may be plugged. I have seen this before and as unlikely as it seems it can cause this kind of issue and if not corrected and cause total engine failure.
