Can a set of 225/65/17 fit on a 2013 Hyundai Tucson?
I already have 225/60/17, and I just have under 1.5 inches of clearance at full
turn each way.
For clearance, you're looking at thee car ins static position. When the car turns, centrifugal force on the tires cause them to bend against the turn. You might have an inch and a half when the car isn't moving, but in a tight turn at even twenty mph, you might have less than a half inch. You currently have the stock tire size on the car, and the proposed change will add only .4 inches in radius. I would think that the 225/65R17 would work well, but consult a local tire shop about this prior to replacement.
I also have a 30mm lift kit for this vehicle
