Why does my post say frame damage when Carfax says structural alteration?

Asked by Sean Sep 08, 2021 at 08:57 PM about the 2013 Hyundai Veloster FWD

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

I put my 13 Hyundai Veloster up. The Carfax shows
structural alteration and you guys put frame damage on
my listing. The frame is not damaged. If you look up what
structural alteration is it's way different than frame
damage. Wondering why it says that on my listing.

I think "structural alternation" is New Speak for frame damage.

I don't think so. Cuz when I look up what structural alteration is. It says somebody removed or added a a part like lowering the car. Like it was done on purpose. Frame damage would be like it was in an accident.

Lowering the car does not alter the structure. Any structural "modification" is a bad thing. What did you do to the car?
