stutter when rolling

My step dads 99 durango  with 5.2 stutters when put into reverse or drive, when rolling on its own power (so gas pedal not being used), i'm pretty new to the durango world so and help is appreciated.

when was last tune up done,have you run any fuel injector cleaner in a tank of gas,sea fome is best.

+2 on the fuel injector cleaner but you also need to check your battery, this often happens if the battery is going bad not gone but going. many strange things can happen when they are almost done. You can try first to clean the connectors of the battery and charge it. I emptied my battery once by accident when I left a cooler on in my Durango over night and it acted like that for 48 hours and then it was ok.
