truck overheating 1999 durango w/5.2L, AT, 4WD, SLT version

overheating problem. upper hose hot, but lower hose cold . Could be radiator or water pump. anybody go through this before???

yea man that happen when my water pump went out look to see if its leaking from there you can put your hand around the water pump to check...if thats not the problem then its the radiator

good news , the by-pass hose was bad. I was frustrated because couldn't see where leaking, and replaced WP 6 months ago. the mechanic had to use scope to find leakand flushed heater core!!! Sometimes you need to go see a good professional mechanic !!!
