It has been my experience that when your car/truck boggs down when you try to give it gas that you probably have a fuel pump problem or fuel injector problem. In older vehicles it could be a filter, but newer vehicles have the pump/filter all in the gas tank, so generally the whole tank will need to be dropped and the pump filter combo will need to be replaced.

Is it throwing a code? I had some issues with mine where it would bog down or shudder and the code said it was running lean... After spending alot of time trying to diagnose it turned out that there was a bad sensor and the computer was messing up the engine because of it.
